New Patient Information

Welcome to Medical Specialists Group of Michigan. To make your first visit smooth, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your registration.
Please bring:
  • A valid photo ID
  • Your insurance card(s)
  • A list of your current medications and dosages
  • Any recent labs, imaging, or specialist notes

Insurance Information

We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, Priority Health, and Meridian.
If you don’t see your plan listed, please call our office at (313) 944-1040 and we’ll verify your coverage.

Prescription Refill Information

To request a prescription refill, please call our office 313-944-1040 and select the Prescription Refill option from the phone menu. Please allow up to 48 business hours for your request to be reviewed and processed.
To help avoid interruptions in your medication, we recommend requesting refills several days before your prescription runs out.
Controlled substances require an office visit and cannot be refilled over the phone. If you have questions about your medications, please contact our office during regular business hours.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — we’re currently accepting new patients of all ages.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
We reserve appointments daily for acute, same- and next-day sick visits.
What insurance do you accept?
Most major plans including Medicare. Call to verify your specific coverage.
Do you offer vaccinations in office?
Vaccinations are not currently offered in our office. We are happy to provide referrals.
How do I get prescription refills?
Contact your pharmacy directly — they will reach out to our office electronically.
How can I get my medical records?
Complete the Release of Medical Records form and submit it to our office.

Office Policies

Cancellations: Please give 24 hours’ notice when possible.
After-hours: For urgent concerns outside office hours, please call our main line for instructions. For emergencies, call 911.
Communication: Non-urgent messages will receive a response within one business day.
Privacy: Our practice complies fully with HIPAA. Your information is confidential.
